PURPOSE: A caller information providing system using a personal number and method thereof are provided to enable a user to call to other people without exposing a phone number by providing the personal number of a subscriber according to caller information. CONSTITUTION: A service control server(30) searches a personal number from a subscriber DB(Data Base)(20) using the phone number of a connected subscriber terminal(10). The service control server transmits the searched personal number to the subscriber terminal. The service control server maps the personal number and a reception number received from the subscriber terminal with the phone number of the subscriber terminal. The service control server transmits a reception call to a reception terminal(40) of the reception number according to the originating call of the subscriber terminal.
