PURPOSE: A data recording device for electronic paper and a data recording method using the same are provided to stably fix the electronic paper to a base unit by arranging the base unit to have a planer form, and to place a roller on the top of the base unit, thereby maximizing data recording and removing effects implemented by applying a voltage. CONSTITUTION: A data recording device for electronic paper comprises a base unit(130) and a first roller(100). The electronic paper is arranged in the base unit. The base unit applies a driving voltage corresponding to inputted data to the electronic paper through an electrode array. The first roller touches a portion of the electronic paper to the base unit while rotating in a preset rotating direction around a central axis on top of the base unit. When the electronic paper touches the base unit by the first roller, the base unit applies the driving voltage to the electronic paper. |
