Provided is a nozzle assembly adapted not only to coat elastics with adhesive but also to coat two layers of web material sandwiching these elastics with an adhesive. Also provided is a composite stretch material produced by using such nozzle assembly. A nozzle assembly 1 includes an upstream block 12, an upstream shim 13, an intermediate shim 14, a downstream shim 15 and a downstream block 16 arranged in this order in a machine direction MD from the upstream side to the downstream side. A lower end 11 of the nozzle 1 is formed with grooves 18a - 18e as guide grooves to support elastics 2. A first pipe 19, a dispersion slit 21 for a web and convergence slits 22 for a web define first flow channels wherein the slits 22 are respectively formed with outlets 23 for a web. A second pipe 20, a dispersion slit 25 for elastics and convergence slits 26 for elastics define a second flow channels wherein the slits 26 are respectively formed with outlets 27 for elastics. The outlets 27 for elastics are formed in the respective guide grooves and each of the outlets 23 for a web lies between each pair of the adjacent outlets 27 for elastics as viewed in the cross direction CD. |
