PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a transparent hollow fiber unit including a filament by which the transparent hollow fiber unit usable for a counterfeit-proof paper or the like having excellent counterfeit-proof effects can continuously be produced by a simple method. SOLUTION: The method for producing the transparent hollow fiber unit including the filament includes the step for making a plurality of the filaments arranged at a prescribed interval in the hollow part of the transparent hollow fiber by repeating the operations of making the filaments by cutting a metal wire or a magnetic fiber arranged in the hollow part of the transparent hollow fiber by a laser beam, moving the metal wire or the magnetic fiber to make a sufficient interval between the terminal of the metal wire or the magnetic fiber and the made filament, and irradiating the metal wire or the magnetic fiber with the laser beam again to make the filament, and a step for cutting and sealing the portion of the transparent hollow fiber produced in the former step and positioned at the nearly intermediate part between each of the neighboring filaments.
