Mounting reflectors on lamp casings.-In a portable electric lamp fitted with a reflector adjustable relatively to the bulb, the cap which carries the reflector fits on the cylindrical part of the casing, and has a screw thread groove engaged by a pin attached to the casing. In the form shown in Fig. 1, the pin e is carried on a spring f attached to the casing a, and a perforation k is provided at the end of the thread i in which the pin e engages, enabling the depression of the pin and the removal of the cap. A modification has a fixed pin which may be formed by a projection struck up from the wall of the lamp casing and a slot or groove extending from the end of the thread to the edge of the cap. The removable cap may have a continuous or divided knurled ring. |
