A measurement device has a housing (1) having a first (3), a second (5) and a third (7) section. A device (11) for fixing the housing at the measurement location is provided on the first section. Electronic components (19) are provided in the third section, and the second section (5) is designed so that with the presence of a temperature difference between an environment of the first section and an environment of the third section a smaller thermal stream flows parallel to a longitudinal axis (L) of the housing through the second section (5).
