PURPOSE: A bite holder for grooving a sheet pile rolling roll is provided to fix a bite holder to a tool rest without interference. CONSTITUTION: A bite holder for grooving a sheet pile rolling roll comprises a front body(11a), a middle body(11b), and a shank unit(12). An insert tip(13) is fixed in a front body portion and the front body is formed in a shape of a straight plate. The middle body is extended toward the rear end of the front body and increased gradually. The shank unit is extended to the rear portion of the middle body and fixed to the tool rest of a lathe.
