PURPOSE: An antioxidative composition containing Phellinus linteusau enzymetic extract is provided to enhance antioxidative effect and to suppress or treat aging and various diseases. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing Phellinus linteusau enzymetic extract comprises a step of treating Phellinus linteusau with protease or carbohydrase at pH 2.0-7.0 and 30-80 deg. C for 6-10 hours. The protease is protamex, flavourzyme, neutrase, alcalase, alpha-chymotrypsin, pepsin, trypsin, or papain. The carbohydrase is promozyme, celluclast, maltogenase, viscozyme, termamyl, dextrozyme, amyloglucosidases, alpha,beta-glucosidase, pectinase, naringinase, cellulase, hemicellulase, or BAN 480L(bacterial A-amylase). An antioxidative composition contains the Phellinus linteusau enzymetic extract as an active ingredient, prepared by protease or carbohydrase.
