PURPOSE: A platform screen door accident detecting apparatus for a railroad car and a platform screen door prevention system including the same are provided to prevent an accident hazard by transmitting a closing prevention signal to a controller of a screen door. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of transmission units(110) transmits electromagnetic waves. The transmission units are installed along the longitudinal direction on the side of a railroad car. A plurality of reception units(120) respectively receives the electromagnetic wave of the transmission units. The reception units are installed on the longitudinal direction on the side of the railroad car. A controller(130) detects an accident hazard in a space between the transmission unit and the reception unit.
