PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a map display device properly comparing POIs hiving the same attribute. SOLUTION: The map display device 1 includes: a touch panel monitor 14 displaying a map; a POI database storing an attribute of a POI (facilities) and the position of the POI; a POI attribute input part 18 receiving the input of the attribute of the POI from a user; a POI search part 20 searching a facility database 12 for a plurality of facilities, having the input attribute; a scale determining part 22 determining as the scale of the map a value to display the plurality of facilities; and a display control part 24 displaying the map on the monitor by the determined scale and displaying the positions of the plurality of facilities on the map.
