A receiver and receiving method for supporting multiple hybrid automatic repeat request (H-ARQ) processes per transmission time interval (TTI) are disclosed. A receiver includes a plurality of H-ARQ processes to receive multiple transport blocks (TBs) simultaneously per TTI. After receiving a plurality of TBs, which were assigned to multiple H-ARQ processes and after receiving the corresponding control information, the receiver sends feedback to each of the TBs indicating successful or unsuccessful receipt of each of the TBs to the transmitter.
