Foam sealing strips for sealing a window frame and for installing prepared window frames

The strip (1) has narrow sides (4, 5) facing an inner side or an outer side of a window frame. Broad sides (2, 3) are attached to a window side or an embrasure. Narrow side areas are variably formed such that one of the narrow sides has higher damping braking action than the other narrow side. A portion of foam material defining room inner-sided damping braking action has water vapor diffusion resistance value that corresponds to 2 to 150 times of water vapor diffusion resistance value of a portion of the material defining room outer-sided damping braking action. An independent claim is also included for a window frame inserted into an embrasure of house.
