PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of negative electrode active material of a secondary battery is provided to improve discharge characteristic in a large output by applying carbon body to the negative electrode active material of the secondary battery. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of negative electrode active material of a secondary battery comprises the following steps: a first step(ST1) of refining coaltar; a second step(ST2) of manufacturing a first pitch; a third step(ST3) of manufacturing a second pitch having a controlled structure by refining the first pitch with the solvent; a fourth step(ST4) of manufacturing a first carbon body having a softening point of 80-100 deg. Celsius by heat treating the second pitch; and a fifth step of manufacturing the second carbon body by shattering the first carbon body into pieces. |
