<p>PURPOSE: A novel compound and an organic light emitting diode containing the same are provided to enhance driving voltage and current efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A novel compound is denoted by chemical formula 1. An organic light emitting diode comprises: an anode; a cathode; and a compound of chemical formula 1, which is inserted between the anode and cathode. The organic light emitting diode further comprises a hole injection layer, a hole transport layer, an electron blocking layer, a hole blocking layer, an electron transport layer, or an electron injection layer between the anode and cathode. The layers are formed by a monomer deposition or a solution process.</p> |
