PURPOSE: A composition and a functional food containing Inulae Flos ethanol extract for preventing and treating kidney cancer are provided to induce kidney cancer cell apoptosis. CONSTITUTION: A composition for preventing and treating kidney cancer contains Inulae Flos ethanol extract as an active ingredient, prepared using 95% ethanol at 50 Deg. C. for 24 hours. A functional food for preventing kidney cancer contains the Inulae Flos ethanol extract as an active ingredient, and sitologically acceptable food additives.
