<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for calculation of carbon dioxide emissions in an electric vehicle, capable of suppressing the increase of instrument cost for carbon dioxide emissions calculation. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The device is configured to store a CO<SB>2</SB>discharge coefficient map MP in advance in a mobile operating system 8 having a calendar timer CT, and to calculate CO<SB>2</SB>emissions per unit kWh when a battery 3 is charged by using CO<SB>2</SB>discharge coefficients about an electricity undertaker read by referring to the CO<SB>2</SB>discharge coefficient map MP based on electric energy when the battery 3 is charged, power classification information determining power classifications used for charging and output and position information 804 of the calendar timer CT when the battery 3 is charged. Then, the CO<SB>2</SB>emissions in traveling is calculated from electric energy consumption in traveling, which is detected by an electric energy consumption detection means 402 of an EV-ECU 4, and the output is displayed.
