<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately evaluate the reliability of a network even when failure cases with inaccurate information on failure recovery time are included. <P>SOLUTION: A network evaluation system for evaluating a network having a plurality of pieces of equipment includes: storage means for storing network failure information including equipment failure recovery time; input means for inputting an evaluation reference value for reliability evaluation; failure case classification means for classifying failure cases included in the network failure information into normal failure cases and failure cases inaccurate in failure recovery time; unrecoverable rate calculation means for calculating an unrecoverable rate of failures of the failure cases with the use of the failure recovery time and information indicating the accuracy of the failure recovery time of the failure cases in the network failure information; evaluation means for evaluating the reliability of the network with the use of the calculated unrecoverable rate and the evaluation reference value; and display means for displaying the result of evaluation by the evaluation means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
