PURPOSE: A system and method for controlling the output of an inverter capable of compensating a control angle signal are provided to implement a stable voltage value by minimizing the distortion of a PWM output waveform. CONSTITUTION: A current flows through a motor(195). A current detector(170) detects a three phase output current from the current flowing through the motor. A phase conversion unit(180) converts the detected three phase output current to a two phase quiescent d-axis and q-axis current. A coordinate conversion unit(190) converts the detected quiescent d-axis and q-axis current to a synchronizing d-axis and q-axis current using a control angle signal. A current controller generates a synchronizing d-axis and q-axis command current.
