PURPOSE: A device for operating an exit roller table of a heating furnace is provided to operate a drive motor as much as needed for transferring slab exactly, thereby reducing power consumption. CONSTITUTION: A device for operating an exit roller table of a heating furnace comprises a motor(50), a motor driving unit(55), a control unit(60), first and second heat sensors(71,72), and a limit switch(80). The control unit transmits motor driving and stop signals to the motor driving unit. The first and second heat sensors detect slab discharged from the heating furnace to generate a slab detection signal and transmits the slab detection signal to the control unit. The limit switch contacts an extractor(30) extracting slab from a heating furnace when the extractor descends, generates an on signal, and transmits the on signal to the control unit.
