A process for the production of a corona-treated polyolefin film comprising the gas-phase polymerization of one or more alpha-olefins in the presence of a polymerization catalyst and an antistatic agent having a molecular weight higher than 500, said antistatic agent being fed at any stage of the polymerization process in an amount from 30 to 500 ppm weight based on the weight of the produced polyolefin.
