Disclosed are a system and a method for playing back contents based on a smart card, and a smart card applied to the same. A browser of a user terminal using a smart card is inquired of a multimedia source of a user existing within the smart card and the multimedia source is played back in real time through the user terminal. A streaming or downloading playback service is provided to provide the user terminal with the multimedia source in real time. Therefore, convenience for the user is improved. |
