PURPOSE: An active type automatic transmission is provided to effectively transfer power by actively shafting through input rate difference. CONSTITUTION: An output shaft(15) is arranged to be faced with an input shaft. A cylinder part(21) is formed on one end of the input shaft. A cam ring pivotally receives the cylinder part. A friction member(31) is selectively rubbed on an inner wall of the cam ring. A pressurizing part pressurizes the friction member to the inner wall of the cam ring. A power transmission shaft is parallel to the input shaft. An input shift driving gear is combined with the input shaft. An input shift driven gear is combined with the power transmission shaft.
