PURPOSE: A dust collector is provided to improve operational efficiency by operating a dust collecting part corresponding to the amount of dust in a target dust collecting area. CONSTITUTION: A dust collector comprises a dust sensor part(100), a dust collecting part(200), and a control part(300). The dust sensor part measures the amount of dust in a target dust collecting area. The dust collecting part collects dust in the target dust collecting area. The control part controls the operation of the dust collecting part according to the amount of dust in the target dust collecting area.
