PURPOSE: A code converting device, a method thereof, and an electronically decodable recording medium thereof are provided to enable a simulation and a test in a host environment by converting an embedded program code into a compilable program code in the host environment. CONSTITUTION: A direct address processing unit(110) grants a first environment address to which a program code refers to a second environment address and converts the code referring to the first environment address into a code referring to the second environment address. An address variable processing unit(120) refers to a list of variables used as addresses in the program code in order to convert the variables into pointer type address variables. A task function processing unit(130) removes an infinite loop included in the program code and substitutes a label for the same.
