PURPOSE: A position determining device of a rotating body and a moving body for an artificial tooth processing machine and a control method thereof are provided to precisely process teeth by easily determining the correct position of a rotating body and a moving body. CONSTITUTION: A position determining device of a rotating and moving body for an artificial tooth processing machine comprises a servo motor(3) with an angle encoder which transfers a straight line transfer member, a linear encoder which senses the predetermined position of the straight line transfer member, a controller which controls the servo motor, and a turntable motor(32) which adjusts the inclination angle and rotation angle of the turntable.
