PURPOSE: A device for compensating inter-web layer alignment errors of a roll-to-roll printer is provided to compensate inter-web layer alignment errors just before printing on a real time basis, thereby enhancing inter-web layer alignment extent. CONSTITUTION: A device for compensating inter-web layer alignment errors of a roll-to-roll printer comprises a pressing roll(110), a pattern roll(130), a driving motor, an alignment mark, a supporter, a camera, a trigger sensor(160), and a controlling unit(170). The pressing roll comprises an opened end. The pattern roll rotates relatively with the pressing roll and prints a circuit product on a web surface when a web passes through the pressing roll. The driving motor drives the pattern roll. The alignment mark is formed on the web and pattern roll. The supporter is inserted into the inside of the pressing roll through the opened end of the pressing roll. The camera photographs the alignment mark becoming overlapped just before printing the circuit product. The trigger sensor senses the alignment mark formed on the pattern roll, thereby outputting operation signals to the camera. The controlling unit receives photographing information from the camera and calculates inter-web layer alignment errors by using the position deviation of the alignment marks and controls the operation of the pattern roll driving motor, thereby compensating the inter-web alignment errors on a real time basis. |
