<p>PURPOSE: A carbon dioxide immobilization method using electric furnace reduced slag which is solid-gas reaction process is provided to fix carbon dioxide and utilize the outcome as construction material by converting (Ca) into calcium hydroxide(Ca(OH)2) which is contained in reduction slag. CONSTITUTION: A carbon dioxide immobilization method using electric furnace reduced slag comprises the following steps: pulverizing reduction slag using electricity; leaching calcium which is contained in the reduction slag using acid; segregating calcium hydroxide(Ca(OH)2) from the leaching solution; separating the segregated calcium hydroxide(Ca(OH)2) from the solution; drying the separated calcium hydroxide(Ca(OH)2); and reacting the dried calcium hydroxide(Ca(OH)2) with the carbon dioxide. In pulverization step, the reduction slag is shattered into 150micro meters or less of particle sized pieces using ball mill. In the leaching step, mixing 12.5-25 parts by weight of the reduction slag based on 100.0 parts by weight of acid solution. In segregation step, pH is set as 10-14 using NaOH and the step is processed at 70-90deg.C. In the reaction step, CO2 is injected with 450-550ml/min of flow rate for 30-90minutes at 400-600deg.C.</p> |
