PURPOSE: A muffler structure for an internal combustion engine is provided to effectively discharge exhaust gas with a relatively small size of a muffler. CONSTITUTION: A muffler structure for an internal combustion engine comprises propeller shaped members(2) which are rotated by the flow of exhaust gas. The propeller shaped members are attached to the inside of a muffler(1), and the exhaust gas passes through the members. A plate(3) with a plurality of holes and a control baffle are used for controlling the flow of the exhaust gas. The propeller shaped members are rotated by the power except for the exhaust gas(5).
