PURPOSE: A swash plate type compressor is provided to perform a role as a muffler by adding a muffler cap to existing components of a compressor, thereby preventing a whole size of the compressor from becoming larger. CONSTITUTION: A swash plate type compressor comprises a housing(140), a cylinder block, a piston, an suction port(210), a suction chamber(131), and a muffler cap(220). The suction port is formed in the housing. The suction chamber is formed in order to connect the suction port and cylinder bore. The muffler cap is installed in the suction chamber. A muffler of the muffler cap is protruded to a bottom direction of the suction chamber. |
