PURPOSE: A method for controlling interfacial diffusion of clad metal is provided to easily control an intermetallic compound generated in an Al-Cu interface when manufacturing Al-Cu clad metal. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling interfacial diffusion of clad metal comprises coating and drying metal colloidal solution on one or more junction surfaces of different metal and welding the different metal, wherein a thin film is formed by sintering of metal particles with low reactivity during drying of the colloidal solution and the speed of formation of an intermetallic compound between the different metal is regulated according to the concentration of colloidal solution.
