PURPOSE: A stopper for a cooling hole of a mold is provided to prevent the injury of workers because the expanded diameter of first and second split rings is not contracted sharply and is retained even if a rubber ring is damaged while using a mold. CONSTITUTION: A stopper(1a) for a cooling hole of a mold comprises a fastening bolt(13), a nut pressing member(30a), a rubber ring(40a), and first and second ring pressing members(25,20). When the stopper for a cooling hole is coupled by a torque wrench, the rubber ring is primarily expanded by the compression of the nut pressing member. First and second split rings are installed between the first and second ring pressing members and between the second ring pressing member and a ring expandable member(10), respectively. While the diameters of the first and second split rings are successively expanded, the cooling hole is sealed. When the fastening bolt is fastened, the diameter of the rubber ring is expanded while the rubber ring is compressed by the nut pressing member. The rubber ring is not fitted between the first ring pressing member and the fastening bolt and is caught at the lower end of the first ring pressing member by a stopping sill. Accordingly, the compression degree of the rubber ring by the nut pressing member is constantly maintained.
