PURPOSE: A forming machine for a reinforcement having a closed section and a reinforcement manufacturing method using the same are provided to simply manufacture a reinforcement in the form of a single part at reduced costs and time. CONSTITUTION: A forming machine for a reinforcement having a closed section comprises a lower mold(3), an upper mold(5), an insert mold(7), a left mold(9), and a right mold(11). The lower mold includes a cavity for forming a reinforcement. The upper mold is moved up and down relative to the lower mold so that a material between the lower and upper mold is pressed and formed. The insert mold can be moved in horizontal and vertical directions, thereby being moved into and out of the cavity from the sides of the upper and lower molds, and can vary in width. The right and left molds are horizontally moved to the sides from the top of the lower mold.
