PURPOSE: A producing method of steamed potatoes with remarkably extended expiration date is provided to maintain the flavor and the taste of the steamed potatoes for a long time. CONSTITUTION: A producing method of steamed potatoes with remarkably extended expiration date comprises the following steps: washing fresh potatoes having the size of 30-60mm, and peeling the potatoes; inserting the peeled potatoes into a steaming pot or a cooker with water, and seasoning the potatoes with salt before steaming at 100-120 deg. C; drying the steamed potatoes on a drying rack using a blower for 1-3 hours; firstly sterilizing the dried potatoes in a low temperature sterilization chamber for 1-3 hours using ultraviolet rays, gamma-rays, or infrared rays; seal-packaging the potatoes using a PE film or a plastic film including an absorbing sheet; and secondly sterilizing the seal-packaged potatoes in the low temperature sterilization chamber.
