PURPOSE: A resource allocation method and apparatus thereof are provided to adaptively allocate bandwidth according to the traffic conversion of a virtual network in a virtual network environment. CONSTITUTION: A resource allocation apparatus calculates average traffic consumption between end nodes according to each virtual network during a fixed time section. The resource allocation apparatus allocates resources to each virtual network(S302). The resource allocation apparatus calculates the average traffic consumption between end nodes according to each virtual network(S304,S306). The resource allocation apparatus determines the conversion of the calculated average traffic consumption(S308).
