<p>PURPOSE: A programmable foot switch and a control method thereof are provided to improve compatibility with a host system by using a USP type interface. CONSTITUTION: A bottom case member(11) has a box shape having an opened side. A switch device(12) is fixed to the inside of the bottom case member and generates a switch output signal through an opening or a short circuit according to a pushed state of a pushing unit(121). A USB signal controller(141) is fixed to the inside of the bottom case member to generate and output a USB signal corresponding to the switch output signal. An external memory stores an OS(Operating System) used for the USB signal controller.</p> |
