An air conditioner is provided to detachably mount a kimchi filter to a dust collecting unit, which is mounted on a path of inhaled room air for sterilizing germs growing inside and outside the air conditioner by sterilization and antibacterial action of kimchi lactic acid bacterium. An air conditioner includes a case formed with inlets and outlets, a blower unit mounted in the case for air suction, and a dust collecting unit(600) for purifying inhaled air and having a detachably mounted kimchi bacteria filter(650) for air sterilization with kimchi lactic acid bacterium supplied on a filter element by coating or injection-molding. A heat exchanger carries out heat exchange between refrigerant and the inhaled air passing through the kimchi filter. |
