PURPOSE: A system for authenticating a user by using positional information of a mobile phone is provided to prevent fraudulent use like reproduction due to loss of a credit card by determining a card approval after confirming a card user. CONSTITUTION: A communication service provider server(10) provides user personal information and positional information of a cellular phone(40). A credit card provider server(20) provides the user personal information and the positional information of a credit card member store terminal(50). An authentication server(30) receives the personal information, the positional information of the cellular phone, and the positional information of the credit card member store terminal from the communication service provider server and the credit card provider server. The authentication server calculates the distance between the credit card member store terminal and the cellular phone by using the location information of the cellular phone and the location information of the credit card member store terminal. The authentication server requests a credit card approval to the credit card provider server.
