A flange portion (11) extends along a direction perpendicular to the wall, where the flange portion surrounds the fixing plate and projects from the wall at a distance equal to the thickness of a wall coating to be applied on the wall. A bracket (30) includes a through passage (31) shaped to receive the tubular connector. An independent claim is also included for a method for mounting a sanitary body on a wall.
