PURPOSE: A method for fabricating an antibacterial fiber is provided to ensure an antibacterial function without the change of washing durability and texture. CONSTITUTION: A method for antibacterial treatment of cellulose-based thread comprises: a step of mixing a polymerization initiator, antibacterial monomers, and water to prepare an antibacterial solution(S10); a step of penetrating the antibacterial solution to a cellulose thread-wound bobbin(S20); a step of draining and dehydrating the antibacterial solution(S30); a step of performing graft polymerization of the cellulose-based thread by supplying steam to the inside of the reactor(S40); a step of water treatment of the cellulose thread(S50); and a step of drying the cellulose thread.
