The module (1) has fixing and positioning units for fixing and positioning the module on another furniture module. The fixing and positioning units include permanent magnets (6), which are integrated with wood panels without partly projecting at level of upper, lower and lateral faces (1a, 1b, 1c) of the panels. Each magnet generates magnetic field at the level of one of the faces of the panels for exerting attraction forces on other complementary magnets. The panels are formed of vertical lateral panels (2), horizontal upper panels (3) and horizontal lower panels (4).
