PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for an electric power steering device detecting a motor current zero state to correct an offset error of a motor current detection value regardless of no appropriate setting of a dead zone for setting a current command value to zero to steering torque.
SOLUTION: The current command value I, the steering torque T and a steering speed V are read in, the sum P (P=T+Tec) of the steering torque T and a column axis conversion torque Tec(Tec=I×Kt×G) of the current command value is arithmetically operated (P11, 12), whether the value P is less than a column axis conversion friction torque Tfc (P<Tfc) is determined, when (P<Tfc), it is determined that a state regarded to be zero in motor current is detected, and arithmetic operation of offset error correction is performed (P13, 15) by using the motor current detection value i detected at that time as an offset correction value. When the value P is not less than the column axis conversion friction torque Tfc (P<Tfc), the arithmetic operation of the offset error correction is stopped (P16).
COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
