This extrusion molding apparatus is for manufacturing a green honeycomb molded body having a cell structure, and is provided with: a housing; a screw; a metal die having a slit; a resistance tube; and a sizing plate having a penetrating path through which a raw material composition is carried, from a surface on the upstream side to a surface on the downstream side. The penetrating path of the sizing plate has: an upstream side flow channel comprising a plurality of channels extending towards the downstream side from the surface on the upstream side; and a downstream side flow channel which extends to the surface on the downstream side. The shape of the cross section of the downstream side channel is different from the shape of the cross section of the upstream side channel.
