<p>In the present invention, an image pick-up unit (30) picks up an image of a subject. A contact detection unit (10) detects contact, made by the finger of a user or other contacting article, with an image displayed on a display screen of a display unit (20), and the unit (10) detects release of contact. A tactile sensation presentation unit (50) presents a tactile sensation to the contacting article that is in contact with the contact detection unit (10). If the contact area between the contact detection unit (10) and the contacting article is at least equal to a reference area, a control unit (60) instructs the tactile sensation presentation unit (50) to perform a tactile sensation presentation operation. The control unit (60), after instructing the tactile sensation presentation unit (50) to perform a tactile sensation presentation operation, controls the image pick-up unit (30) so that if the contact area between the contact detection unit (10) and the contacting article is less than the reference area, focal distance is shortened, and if the contact area is at least equal to the reference area, focal distance is lengthened.</p> |
