<p>A honeycomb filter (100) is provided with: columnar porous partitions (112) that form a plurality of flow channels (110) that extend in the Z-axis direction; and a plurality of sealing parts that seal one end of some of the plurality of flow channels (110) and the other end of the remainder of the plurality of flow channels. The partitions (112) and the sealing parts (114) are composed of ceramic. At least one end surface (112e) of the partitions (112) in the Z-axis direction: forms a curved surface in such a manner that, toward the center (112ec) from the outer periphery (112ep), the amount of protrusion increases to the outside in the Z-axis direction, and the inclination decreases relative to the X-Y plane, which is orthogonal to the Z-axis; or forms a curved surface in such a manner that, toward the center from the outer periphery, the amount of indentation increases toward the inside in the aforementioned axis direction, and the inclination decreases relative to the plane that is orthogonal to the aforementioned axis.</p> |
