PURPOSE: A hologram including an image pattern layer and a design method thereof are provided to improve a three-dimensional effect by variously expressing colors, controlling an angle of emitting light, and changing focal distance and direction of an image. CONSTITUTION: An image pattern layer is attached to the surface of a base material and expresses a plurality of images on the same plane. A protective layer protects the image pattern layer. The image pattern layer comprises a plurality of grating pattern groups, each of which forms different images. The plurality of grating pattern groups comprises a plurality of unit grating cells. The plurality of unit grating cells is comprised of a plurality of diffraction grids and a slit part. The plurality of diffraction grids is arranged in specific orientation.
