<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide biomarkers for diagnosing depression. <P>SOLUTION: One or more compounds selected from the group consisting of ADP-RIBOSE, ATP, ADP, AMP, serotonin, tryptophan, kynurenine, SDMA (symmetricdimethylarginine), threonine, glyceric acid, serine, N-acetylaspartic acid, glutamic acid, trigonelline, creatine, 2-methyl serine, sphingosine, homovanillic acid, piperidine, sulfoxidated methionine, pipecolic acid, sphinganine, γ-butyrobetaine, guanidoacetic acid, isobutyric acid, creatinine, sarcosine, 3-methyl butyric acid, nicotinamide, betaine, ornithine, carnitine, ethanolamine, phosphoethanolamine, taurine, hypotaurine, aspartic acid, methionine, tyrosine, phosphorylcholine, arginine, asparagine, and others are used as a biomarker, and a content of the biomarker in a collected blood sample is measured. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
