<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable neutral control even during engine stop while suppressing engaging shock of a forward clutch during engine restart. <P>SOLUTION: A forward clutch 49 is provided in a power transmission path 18 between an engine 11 and drive wheels 19f, 19r. A spring 65 is incorporated in an engagement oil chamber 63 of the forward clutch 49, thereby causing the forward clutch 49 to be held in a slipping state or an engaged state through the spring force even during an idling stop that suffers from reduced control oil pressure. This arrangement can prevent the forward clutch 49 from producing an engagement shock during an engine restart. In addition, a meshing clutch 15 is provided in the power transmission path 18. The meshing clutch 15 is operated by an electric actuator 44 interlocking with a select lever 45a. With this arrangement, neutral control can be performed by disengaging the meshing clutch 15 even if the forward clutch 49 which is to be held in a slipping state or an engaged state is provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
