A memory-type display apparatus, according to the present invention, comprises: a memory-type display unit; a data buffer unit where inputted data, which is displayed on the memory-type display unit, is saved; a buffer control unit for saving only a portion of scan line data from the inputted data, which is inputted in frame units, on the data buffer unit; and a display control unit for displaying on the memory-type display portion the inputted data per scan line which is saved on the data buffer unit, wherein the display control unit displays on the memory-type display unit the portion of the scan line data, according to information on the scan line to which the inputted data that is saved on the data buffer unit is to be allocated, and wherein the scan line of the memory-type display unit, to which the portion of the scan line data is not applied, maintains a display status based on frame data before the frame data including the portion of the scan line data are inputted.
