<p>The present invention provides a liquid crystal display panel which is capable of reducing the occurrence of light leakage at a position overlapping a liquid crystal alignment control projection (34). This liquid crystal display panel is provided with: a pixel electrode (15); a switching element; a light-blocking first wiring line (14); a light-blocking second wiring line (13); and the liquid crystal alignment control projection (34). The first wiring line (14) and the second wiring line (13) are arranged in different layers with a first insulating film (22) being interposed therebetween, and the second wiring line (13) and the pixel electrode (15) are arranged in different layers with a second insulating film (23) being interposed therebetween. The first wiring line(14), the second wiring line (13) and the liquid crystal alignment control projection (34) respectively have overlapping portions that overlap each other. The width of the overlapping portion of the first wiring line (14) or the second wiring line (13), which has a larger thickness than the other, is smaller than the width of the overlapping portion of the other wiring line that has a smaller thickness; and the width of the overlapping portion of the liquid crystal alignment control projection (34) is smaller than the width of the overlapping portion of the wiring line that has a smaller thickness.</p> |
