PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of conventional fuel cells that measures are not taken for reducing the contact resistance of a separator and improving the corrosion resistance through the surface treatment.
SOLUTION: A cathode side separator 3A separates a cathode gas passage Cg from a coolant passage Cf in a fuel cell C. A conductive coat is formed on a surface of the separator, and the thickness of the conductive coat is increased at an outlet port side of a cathode gas relative to an inlet port side on a surface of the cathod gas passage Cg side. Further, the thickness of the conductive coat is increased at an outlet port side of a coolant relative to an inlet port side on a surface of the coolant passage Cf side. This structure achieves both the efficient reduction of the contact resistance and the improvement of the corrosion resistance.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
